Ingeborg Reichle is visiting the Japan Media Arts Festival in Tokyo
In the first week of June 2019, Ingeborg Reichle is visiting the 22nd Japan Media Arts Festival in Tokyo, Japan. The festival is running from June 1 till June 16, 2019. It was founded in 1996 as a round-table conference on multimedia audio-visual art and was established within the Advisory Committee for the Promotion of Cultural Policy. The idea was to promote new forms of new media art for the 21st Century and to hold a Media Arts Festival as a forum for presenting, honoring and appreciating works of new media arts. Today this comprehensive festival outstanding presents works from a diverse range of media—from animation and comics/manga to media art and games at different venues like the Miraikan – The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, Fuji Television Wangan Studio, Tokyo International Exchange Center, BMW GROUP Tokyo Bay, Symbol Promenade Park and other locations.
